Personal BetterTouchTool licenses are per-user. You may install and use the BetterTouchTool license you purchase on all computers that you are the main user of. It does not matter if it is a work computer or your private computer.
Additionally  you are allowed to install the license file on two additional computers owned by your family. Your family members are then allowed to use BetterTouchTool on those two computers.

Bulk/Corporate BetterTouchTool Licenses are per-machine, they may be installed and used by multiple users on as many machines as you have purchased licenses.

The license you purchase includes all BetterTouchTool updates for at least 1.5 years for free. After those 1.5 years, there may be paid upgrades, however you will be allowed to continue using the last version you received. I will try to keep updates free for as long as possible.

BetterTouchTool will never expire if a valid license is installed.

You are allowed to use your personal license at work – as long as you are the main user of the computer you want to use it on.

It is not allowed to resell the BetterTouchTool license(s) you purchase.

Refunds are available within 14 days of purchasing. As BetterTouchTool is sold by Fastspring, they also handle the refunds. Please contact Fastspring if you want to claim a refund.

There is no guarantee that BetterTouchTool will be compatible with upcoming OS X versions. This is because I  do not know how the operating system will change and if it will still be possible to use the APIs BetterTouchTool needs to work.

I promise to do my best to have BTT working with new OS X versions for as long as possible.

Currently BetterTouchTool works on OS X 10.7.x (with some limitations), OS X 10.8.x, OSX 10.9.x, OS X 10.10.x, OS X 10.11.x.

The BetterTouchTool license also allows you to use all features of the iOS companion app BTT Remote. If you connect BTT Remote to a licensed BetterTouchTool, it will automatically switch to the PRO mode.
